We strongly recommend that you obtain adequate personal travel insurance to cover all aspects of your journey.
Once insurance is activated, it is non-cancellable and non-refundable unless conditions in the Policy are strictly complied with. The policy provides coverage for Tigerair destinations only. Coverage will cease once you leave Tigerair destinations for any connecting flights or journeys.
In the event that we have a change in flight schedule, Tigerinsure policy plans will automatically extend its coverage to the rescheduled departure time up to a maximum of 3 (three) days provided the travel period does not exceed 45 days from date of departure.
We can issue letters to support travel insurance claims for flight cancellations or disruptions. Please contact our call center for more information, details of which can be found here. Insurance letters are supplied free of charge where we are responsible for a flight cancellation or delay, or where the request is following a medical condition or a bereavement and the request is supported by appropriate documentation. All other requests for travel insurance letters will be charged at S$10.00 or A$10.00 (or local currency equivalent) per letter, payable by the passenger at the time of the request.
