It is every passenger's sole responsibility to ensure that they have valid travel documentation available for presentation which meets the requirements of Tigerair, immigration and other governmental authorities at every entry and exit point. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of breach of this requirement shall be paid by or charged to you. In order to ensure compliance Tigerair requires that you carry your valid passport (and visa if applicable) on all journeys.
All passengers on international flight must produce passport for check-in together with the booking reference (shown on the Booking Confirmation). Failure to present valid passports matching the names on your reservation will result in you being refused carriage.
Please note that certain Immigration Authorities require visitors to provide proof of confirmed return or onward tickets.
In accordance with Article 28(1) of the 1951 UN Convention, a valid UN Refugee Convention Travel Document issued by a Government in place of a valid passport is acceptable.
Expired or damaged passports will not be accepted for any flight. Failure to present valid passports matching the names on your reservation will result in you being refused carriage.
Tigerair reserves the right to refuse carriage to any passenger if their travel documentation is not considered to be in a suitable condition or shows any sign of being tampered.
If you are in any doubt about whether or not you require a visa to travel, please contact the local Embassy or Consulate of the country you intend to visit prior to making your reservation. Tigerair will not refund tickets if a visa cannot be obtained after making the reservation and cannot provide advice on visa requirements.
