This is the portion of the total airfare above the base fare that is payable by each passenger. It is calculated by reference to the applicable Government taxes and airport charges that are payable by Tigerair in respect of passengers being carried on a particular route together with any administrative or other fees imposed by the airline.
Government Tax - This is a governmental departure or arrival tax which is collected by the airline and payable to the relevant governmental authorities. These taxes vary from country to country and in some cases are collected locally on departure and not by the airline.
Passenger Service Charge - This is the charge made by the airport authorities to the airlines for use of the terminal, runway, emergency services, security facilities etc. GST or VAT is currently charged at 0% on fares or fees relating to International journeys.

Fares quoted are per person per one-way journey. All fares are subject to change and not confirmed until payment is received in full.
Open-dated or open-ended tickets are not allowed. You must confirm specific flight(s) and dates(s) for any booking. Tickets are only valid for the flight(s) specified in your booking.
Unless otherwise specified, fares quoted are subject to airport taxes and other prevailing charges.
Fares, taxes and charges may fluctuate based on prevailing currency exchange rates.
Fares and charges are strictly non-refundable. Passengers who do not arrive for their flight before the stipulated check in deadline will not be allowed to board the aircraft and all monies will be forfeited.
Except for Interline flights (itinerary/booking consisting of flights operated by Tigerair (TR) and at least one of our partner airlines), you can change your Tigerair (TR) bookings up to four (4) hours prior to flight departure time with payment of relevant change fee and fare difference, subject to the following:
Subject to availability, flight date/time, may be changed up to four (4) hours prior to scheduled departure time with payment of change fee per flight and any applicable fare difference. Refund will not be provided should the fare be lower at the time of change;
Name changes may be performed with payment of change fee per flight plus any fare difference at the time of change. This is only available via the Call Centre and must be done at least (4) hours before the scheduled departure time. Name changes for any passenger must apply to all flights for that passenger on the booking. Refund will not be provided should the fare be lower at the time of change;
Changes may not be permitted on selected promotional fares.
Infants under two (2) years of age at the time of travel who do not occupy an aircraft seat are charged an infant fee at the prevailing rates per sector; baggage allowance and payment of taxes & charges are not applicable. Only one infant per adult over 18 years of age will be permitted to travel.
Children between (2) and (12) years of age pay 100% of the adult fare.
Passengers who have purchased a Flight Combination, but have not bought Tigerconnect product, will be required to clear customs and immigration where applicable and reclaim any baggage and then check-in for their onward flight. Please allow at least 3 (three) hours to complete this process.
Changes cannot be made to any part of a flight combination journey once the departure of the first flight has passed. Any unutilised portion of a flight combination is non-refundable or transferable.
No stopovers are allowed on any flight combination fare. A stopover is defined as a period of more than 24 hours in the connecting city and/or country.
All travel is subject to the Carrier's Conditions of carriage.
Tigerair operates a no refund policy and as such it is unable to refund any tickets (fares and charges) where the passenger decides they no longer have a requirement to fly or is unable to travel, as a result of any change in personal circumstances, including but not limited to medical grounds. Individual or Personal Travel Insurance is recommended for all passengers to cover such cancellations.
Should a passenger decide that they no longer wish to travel, they may apply for a refund of the Government Passenger Services Tax and other airport/government taxes paid for their flight. They would have to submit the request via http://support.tigerair.com/TR_Feedback_Enquiry?CaseType=0 within 90 days from the flight date. With the exception of travel from India and Hong Kong, an administrative fee of SGD50 (or local equivalent) will be applied on a per passenger, per booking basis.
In the event of the death of a passenger prior to the scheduled departure time of their flight. Tigerair will refund the reservation following receipt of a copy of the death certificate.
Passengers who have pre-purchased Tigerconnect do not need to clear arrival immigration and retrieve their luggage. A travel visa for Singapore is not needed. For those who do did not purchase Tigerconnect, they would need to clear immigration and collect their baggage then check-in for their onward flight.
All rail and coach transfers detailed on www.tigerair.com or promoted by Tigerair are operated independently of the airline and connections cannot be guaranteed.
