Baggage check-in opens 2 (two) hours prior to the scheduled time of departure. Check-in desks close strictly 45 minutes before scheduled departure time, except in India where they are open 3 (three) hours before and close 1 (one) hour before departure.
Tigerair recommends that passengers check in 2 (two) hours prior to scheduled departure. Check-in desks close strictly 45 minutes before scheduled departure, by which time passengers should have completed the check-in process and be in possession of a valid boarding card. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation and deny you boarding if you do not comply with the check in deadline.
Any passenger not having completed check-in formalities and be in receipt of a boarding card within the above timeline will forfeit their seat and no compensation will be given. You will be expected to purchase a new ticket on the next available service.
Passengers are required to show their booking confirmation, valid passport (for international flights) or photo ID (for domestic flights), with any necessary visas at check-in. Please note that failure to produce the booking confirmation could result in the immigration authorities refusing travel.
Passengers with special requirements - e.g. bicycle to check-in, special needs passengers are advised to check-in 2 (two) hours prior to departure and make themselves known at the designated check-in desk.
Those travelling in groups must check-in individually. Group check-in is not permitted.
Tigerair reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refuse you boarding or checking-in for reasons of safety or security.
